Capital markets for a more competitive Europe

– a Nordic-Baltic contribution and perspective –

The European Union is currently facing a set of large-scale challenges. Rising geopolitical tensions, climate change, an aging population and the need for development and deployment of new technologies will all require substantial investment in the decades to come. Realising the urgency of these challenges, political momentum to develop European capital markets is gathering pace and new proposals from the European Commission are in the pipeline.

In Stockholm on April 3, we will bring together a wide representation of EU stakeholders and experts with a particular focus on the Nordic-Baltic region. We will discuss how capital markets within the EU can be developed to meet our investment needs and leverage our opportunities in a way that contributes to Europe’s competitiveness while promoting the long-term interests of retail savers.

Welcome!
